Dear NAHJ members:
Austin finally has a chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists!
KUT Radio’s Crystal Chavez, Isadora Vail of the Austin American-Statesman and Angela Maldonado from NPR's Latino USA, will be hosting an informal mixer at Opal Divine’s on 6th Street, Saturday, October 24th from 3-6 PM.
Join us on the balcony, grab a drink or some appetizers and let us know what you’d like out of our chapter. The feedback we get back will shape the events we plan for you.
We also want to meet other Latino media professionals out there, so if you know of other colleagues or friends, bring them along too. We plan to keep our social events open to members and non-members, and any seminars or talks special to members.
